This week, we broadcast our 148th episode of Gensokyo Radio Live, released the Top 100 Touhou Songs of 2024 list, and started a new store campaign. For more details, read on!

Our 148th episode of Gensokyo Radio Live featured music from albums which are being added to the station’s regular rotation for 2025 including Antares Enigma, KodamaSounds, Neo Sanctum, and more. As we settle into the new year, we will continue to add additional music from our backlog and into the rotation for regular listening.

On Sunday, we premiered Gensokyo Radio’s Top 100 Touhou Songs of 2024 as rated by our listeners. Every year, we compile a list of the best songs of the year as rated by active listeners and put them together in a video to showcase the vast diversity of music made by fans of the Touhou Project video game series. We hope this video helps listeners better understand the music featured in the list, and to introduce potential new fans to this niche.

Finally, starting in 2025, we’re introducing weekly deals on music available through our web store at https://gensokyo.store. Each week, you’ll be able to find a small selection of discounted Touhou and non-Touhou albums at varying amounts between 20-40%, and possibly more at a later time. This campaign will help to give listeners more opportunities to grab music CDs and provides an additional avenue for promoting the music, station, and store to a western audience.
