Top 100 Touhou Songs of 2023

This week, we worked on the list and accompanying video for our Top 100 Touhou Songs of 2023, plus we updated our web app with six total languages. For more details, read on!

Over the course of each year, we receive thousands of song ratings sent in by active listeners, and these ratings culminate into our Top 100 list. The list is published in both video and spreadsheet format so that listeners can preview the music being featured and look up more information about their favorites afterwards.

We are currently wrapping up the list for 2023, and as in past years, it will be featured as a premiere via our YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/c/GensokyoRadio) where you’ll also be able to find a link to the spreadsheet version of the list. The video will premiere within the next few days, plus we’ll also be using this channel for additional content later this year, so get subscribed so you don’t miss out!

On the web app front, we’ve pushed an update that adds translations for five additional languages to most pages and sections (with some pages omitted, to be updated shortly). These languages include:

• Deutsch (German)
• Français (French)
• Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian)
• 日本語 (Japanese)
• Norsk [bokmål] (Norwegian)

Additionally, we have Thai and Norwegian (Nynorsk) in the works, plus a small handful of other languages that folks have signed up for. If you’re interested in helping translate the app, we have a thread on our Discord server that you can join: Translation Thread
