If any of you know me from THFNN, you’ll know that one of my things is looking at numbers and pulling interesting facts from them. So in following, I’ve gathered some bits of info based on stats collected during the month of February. When looking at these numbers, it’s important to keep in mind that stats collection has only been active since around January 21st, 2012, so there are “scaled” numbers to help make figures more realistic.

• We had a 700% increase (or 230%, scaled) in time listened to the stream compared to January.
• The total number of listener connections went up 760% (or 250%, scaled) compared to January.
• More than 20 million seconds (about 244 days) of music has been streamed to listeners in February.

It isn’t much, but it is a little interesting. What’s more interesting, perhaps, is that based on current projections, we’ll have at least a 40% increase in listener time for the month of March. That means we’re expecting to stream nearly a year’s worth of music this month alone.

I’m hard at work on a separate project related to the Touhou universe, but hopefully I’ll find time to add something new to the site this month. You’ll just have to check back every now and then to see!
